Every Tanzania Adventure enquiry is answered personally by a guide or team member who has been on the drive you are asking about. Not a chatbot. Not a booking engine. A person who knows this land and wants to help you witness it.
The first response to your enquiry is from David, James, Grace, or Sarah — team members who personally review every safari enquiry before responding.
A team member responds personally with specific observations about your programme concept — not a price list or a brochure link.
A 20–30 minute conversation covering your priorities, dates, group, and budget. This is the beginning of the itinerary design.
Within 3–5 working days: a specific programme with camp recommendations, guide assignment, and full pricing. Reviewed by David Mwanga.
30% deposit confirms all permits, accommodation, and guide assignments. Full balance due 60 days before departure.
For peak Serengeti season (July–September crossing season), 12–18 months is strongly recommended. The best-positioned northern Serengeti camps are fully reserved well into the following year by October of the preceding year. For all other seasons and destinations, 3–6 months typically provides adequate availability. Contact us regardless of lead time — we will tell you honestly what is available.
Most nationalities require a Tanzanian visa. Tanzania offers an e-visa through the immigration portal — apply at least two weeks before travel. The visa is valid for 90 days single entry. Tanzania Adventure’s preparation guide (sent with every confirmed booking) includes the specific e-visa application process and requirements by nationality.
Yellow fever vaccination is required if arriving from a yellow fever endemic country. Malaria prophylaxis is strongly recommended for all Tanzania destinations. Consult your GP at least 6 weeks before departure for prescription medications. Tanzania Adventure’s preparation guide includes a comprehensive health section prepared with input from travel medicine specialists.
Tanzania has two dry seasons (January–March and June–October) and two wet seasons (April–May long rains, November short rains). The dry seasons are optimal for game viewing. The wet season offers lower prices, dramatic landscapes, and significantly reduced visitor numbers. Tanzania Adventure provides month-by-month climate and wildlife advice specific to the parks in your enquiry.
Tanzania is one of the safest countries in East Africa for tourism. The safari circuit — Arusha, Serengeti, Ngorongoro, Kilimanjaro, Zanzibar — is well-developed for international visitors and has a long history of safe tourism. Tanzania Adventure has operated continuously since 2005 without a single client safety incident. All our vehicles, guides, and programmes meet or exceed national safety standards.
Yes — and it is one of Tanzania Adventure’s most requested combinations. The standard programme is 8-day Lemosho Route followed immediately by a 7-day northern circuit safari. Arctic summit to Serengeti plains in 24 hours is one of the great contrasts in travel. The guide handover from Emmanuel (mountain) to James (safari) is coordinated in advance — your interests and fitness state are briefed before you leave Moshi.
Tanzania Adventure welcomes families with children of any age for game drives. Walking safaris are recommended from age 8 upwards. Kilimanjaro trekking is appropriate from age 10 with good fitness. Balloon safaris require a minimum age of 7. Tanzania Adventure’s guide Daniel Semu has specific training in family safari communication and is our preferred guide for groups with children under 12.
US dollars are the most practical currency for Tanzania. Most tourist-facing establishments accept USD. The Tanzanian Shilling is the local currency and is needed for smaller purchases. ATMs are available in Arusha, Moshi, and Stone Town (Zanzibar) — less reliably in park areas. Tanzania Adventure recommends arriving with sufficient USD cash for tips, souvenirs, and personal spending. Our preparation guide includes specific tip guidance for guides, porters, and camp staff.
The enquiry form takes three minutes. We respond in 24 hours. The safari starts from the first message.
